Te Kaitaka - The Cloak

A sculptural built form is sited on the corner of two recently upgraded streets, one heavily traffic based & one focussed on the pedestrian. The functional brief was simple - a flexible space for hosting events, meetings & introducing the strategy & opportunities behind the developing precinct. Beyond these functional requirements, the brief was aspirational - the architecture should demonstrate opportunities for innovative design & sustainable operation.

Major Sprout

New to Graham Street this delicious café was conceived by the impressive team behind Dear Jervois and Little King with a look, cuisine and atmosphere that is very easy to fall for. The design of Major Sprout comes solely from its owner David Lee and was brought to life by Envoy Construction.

Fonterra Head Office Auckland

We worked closely with Fonterra, Jasmax and RCP throughout the entire project to design, manufacture and install a complete package of Activity Based Working solutions for this seven level office space. A number of these solutions were custom produced items as well as a large selection from our existing office furniture range.

National Property Trust Auckland

Our focus was to supply upholstered breakout seating options, this included the Navigate Lowback sofa which assisted in defining each area while retaining an open plan environment. As well as this we supplied key feature lighting from Resident to compliment the exposed nature of the ceiling.

Icebreaker

Icebreaker is an iconic Kiwi brand, steadily growing in international markets. With growth of the business set to make another leap, Icebreaker decided to relocate its headquarters from Wellington and bring together two offices in Auckland. As such, a key element of the design was to bring these two groups together in a unified, exciting setting which rewarded the commitment of their loyal team.

Aro Ha Wellness Retreat

Located in New Zealand’s ethereal Southern Alps, Aro Hā is designed for the rejuvenation of the human spirit.

KPMG Tauranga

The 1200m² KPMG fit-out occupies a new three storey commercial office building in Tauranga. The workplace design captures the client’s aspiration to create a professional environment which encourages engagement among staff and establishes strong local connections.

Air New Zealand Christchurch Regional Terminal

We worked very closely with Air New Zealand, BVN and Jasmax to design a completely custom seating solution for this new regional terminal.

The Cloud Queens Wharf

The ‘Cloud’, is a purpose built temporary structure designed to provide flexible space for the 2011 RWC Queens Wharf Festival and Fan zone.

Eyrie

On the 1st December 2014 Resident conducted an iconic photoshoot at a remote cabin north of Auckland, New Zealand. The location is called Eyrie. The buildings were designed by Nat Cheshire and received the coveted Home Design Award for 2014.

Air New Zealand Innovation Centre

We worked closely with Air New Zealand and Aaron Pollock to offer a complete furniture and lighting solution for this open plan space. This involved customising a number of finishes and products from our existing range to suit the clients needs.
