Fendalton House

Te Hihi - Karaka

Te Hihi is a recently completed rural home in the rolling landscape of Karaka. The client brief required a three-bedroom home with an additional study that could also accommodate guests. Their wishes were for a contemporary “New Zealand” styled house that blended in with its rural surroundings, without employing a traditional “farm house” aesthetic.

Eyrie

On the 1st December 2014 Resident conducted an iconic photoshoot at a remote cabin north of Auckland, New Zealand. The location is called Eyrie. The buildings were designed by Nat Cheshire and received the coveted Home Design Award for 2014.
