THISTLES is a New York City-based eyewear line by stylist and photographer Thistle Brown. The brand offers a contemporary take on traditional styles and has the image of a heritage brand with a raw New York City sensibility. New York itself has long been a city for the voyeur. Sunglasses provide a dual function in this: something to hide from everything around you and something that offers the opportunity to be seen.
