The Sinafu Small Stand Bowl by Morihata appears to float in midair on it's expertly turned, thin wooden stem. This bowl is made in Yamanaka Prefecture, where lacquering and woodworking techniques have sustained the craftsman population for centuries. This is a miniature version of our best selling 6.0 and 7.0 Stand Bowls.
The Sinafu line of raised bowls were conceived with the help of designer Kenichiro Oomori and are intended to showcase the best characteristics of Yamanaka lacquerware. Use as a centrepiece of fruit bowl.

Established in 2005 by Kaz and Yuka Morihata, their intention is to introduce the makers and creators of Japan to the international market. All sales purchases are final and not eligible for return or exchange. All sale goods are sold in as-new condition, however please note packaging may show signs of light wear.
Sale purchases are online only, stock will not be available at our retail locations.
Sale purchases will be dispatched in chronological order. Please allow 3-5 days for dispatch at this busy time, and then standard shipping timeframes will apply. Same day shipping is not available for sale items. Freight for oversized or large items, domestic or international, may incur additional charges. This will be invoiced to you and must be paid before the goods are dispatched.
