The Gem Clip Diamond Long Necklace by Jessica McCormack is 21 inches long and handcrafted in blackened 18k white gold and 18k rose gold, with diamond pave-set rondelles of blackened white gold backed in rose gold.
Inspired by the first iteration of the humble paperclip, designed at the close of the 19th century and trademarked in 1904 as the Gem Clip, Jessica McCormack has transformed the clean lines of classic engineering using the most precious metals.

Designer Profile
Jessica McCormack’s design process is centred on storytelling and nostalgia. She has an innate talent for weaving emotion and history into everything she touches, be it the Party Jacket collection or the ever-changing interiors in her London townhouse store.
Her childhood spent among the treasures and curiosities of her father’s auction house in New Zealand ignited her passion for exploring an objects past, and a year in the jewellery department at Sotheby’s cemented her passion for fine jewellery.
This led to her meeting diamantaire and art collector Michael Rosenfeld, which in turn enabled her to create one of a kind diamond jewellery for private clients and ultimately to create the house of Jessica McCormack as it is today.
