The 300 thread count percale weave is crisp yet breathable, cool to the touch, and soft against your skin. SUTRAM bedwear is made in India using GOTS certified, Fair Trade certified cotton.

Sutram sheets are made from 100% organic, GOTS and Fairtrade certified cotton. Dyes are non toxicand azo free. Based in Kolkata, India– Sutram's production partner is certified under the SA8000 social accountability standard and made the switch to exclusively organic and Fairtrade cotton in the mid-nineties. Fairtrade and organic farming standards help to create better outcomes for those in their supply chain and for soil health - Sutram supports these practices and is bringing safer, and more equitable products to the market. Our cotton is sourced from a collective of small and marginalized farmers in the Maharashtra region who have grown in number from 234 to over 15,000 during the course of their 18 year partnership, one that has had considerable positive impacts on socioeconomics in the region. Sutram's supplier’s commitment to their community goes beyond standards–offering support through extended worker benefits like free transport and health checks and also the funding of schools, care and treatment centres, through disaster relief offered to NGOs and the distribution of items like sewing machines and bikes in the community.
SUTRAM is a new textile house founded by Sydney-based Aucklanders Rukaiya Daud (of Fourth St)and Kate Fowler with a focus on organic cotton bedwear and a palette that takes an architectural view on colour. High quality percale -cool, matte and smooth –100% organic, GOTS and Fairtrade certified cotton.
SUTRAM is an ancient Sanskrit and Tamil expression which translates to string or thread, plan or formula. A celebration of colour and cotton, SUTRAM – the common thread.
