Hello Sailor Flotsam and Jetsam Necklace

The Hello Sailor collection by Jessica McCormack is an ode to the designer's affinity with the ocean, growing up close to the ruggedly beautiful beaches of New Zealand.
The Flotsam and Jetsam necklace is a one-of-a-kind necklace with eleven ocean-inspired precious pendants suspended from a yellow gold chain, including a gold anchor, a moonstone and diamond-set starfish, engraved and enamelled pearls and a vibrant piece of sustainably sourced Sardinian coral.
Jessica imagined a net pulling up a precious catch, and brought all those ideas together in one piece that encompasses the playful yet elegant feel of the collection.

Jessica McCormack’s design process is centred on storytelling and nostalgia. She has an innate talent for weaving emotion and history into everything she touches, be it the Party Jacket collection or the ever-changing interiors in her London townhouse store.
Her childhood spent among the treasures and curiosities of her father’s auction house in New Zealand ignited her passion for exploring an objects past, and a year in the jewellery department at Sotheby’s cemented her passion for fine jewellery.
This led to her meeting diamantaire and art collector Michael Rosenfeld, which in turn enabled her to create one off a kind diamond jewellery for private clients and ultimately to create the house of Jessica McCormack as it is today.
An 18k Yellow Gold necklace, set with eleven precious pendants. Total diamond weight 7.85cts, handcrafted in 18k yellow gold and 18k blackened white gold.
