Tractor Stool
BassamFellows
The Tractor Stool by BassamFellows debuted in Milan in 2003, as part of their ‘Craftsman Modern’ vision for design. Essentially a luxe reimagining of the workman’s footstool, designer Craig Bassam reinterpreted the ergonomic Swiss tractor seat, using a variety of the highest quality woods – including teak for outdoor settings. The stools are shaped by a precision CNC carver and finished by expert cabinetmakers, the perfect balance of handcraft and industrial technology.
Available in three different heights - the instant, organic, visual appeal of the Tractor Stool makes it a definitive and enduring BassamFellows design.
Craig bassam
Australian Architect Craig Bassam and American Creative Director Scott Fellows joined forces in 2003 to form BassamFellows. Following successful solo ventures, BassamFellows was born with a shared vision in mind - to take the fundamentals of Modernism into the new century.
BassamFellows' philosophy combines quality and craftsmanship with technology and engineering precision, to create an integrated design approach across architecture, furniture and accessories. Renowned for their exceptional materiality and distinctive creativity and character, the brand has taken shape over two decades and three continents, building a design language accented by purity, refinement and visual pleasure.
