In 2004, Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen created the Citterio mouth-blown decanter with every element reduced to its purest and most essential functional purpose. The neck opens slightly to allow just the right amount of air in so wine can breathe while still allowing the light to show the brilliance of the vintage.

 

With its pure and well balanced lines, the decanter stands perfectly together with Iittala’s various wine glasses.

Antonio Citterio is an Italian architect, furniture designer and industrial designer who lives and works in Milan. He acquired a degree in architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 1972 and subsequently started working as a designer and industrial design consultant.

All sales purchases are final and not eligible for return or exchange. All sale goods are sold in as-new condition, however please note packaging may show signs of light wear.

Sale purchases are online only, stock will not be available at our retail locations.

Sale purchases will be dispatched in chronological order. Please allow 3-5 days for dispatch at this busy time, and then standard shipping timeframes will apply. Same day shipping is not available for sale items. Freight for oversized or large items, domestic or international, may incur additional charges. This will be invoiced to you and must be paid before the goods are dispatched.
