Parnell Loft Office

Set within Auckland’s historic Textile Centre, Parnell Loft Office reimagines the contemporary workplace through a softer, more residential lens.

Designed by Pattersons for a tech company, the 900-square-metre tenancy balances heritage character with contemporary interventions, revealing original jarrah beams, brickwork, timber floors and steel-framed windows beneath previous fit-outs.

Organised around a central row of brass-clad meeting rooms, the office unfolds into a series of open, light-filled spaces for focused work, collaboration and gathering.
A generous kitchen, long communal dining table and lounge spaces introduce a sense of domesticity, while sheer curtains and natural materials soften the scale of the workplace.

Refined furniture including the Kashmir Chair, Tangerine Stool, Underline Workstation and a custom Fragment Dining Table by Simon James compliment the building’s original fabric, creating a warm and tactile palette that feels distinctly removed from the traditional office environment.
