The Block Lounge Chair by Simon James encompasses a solid timber frame, balancing strong monolithic lines with the warmth and softness of upholstery.
The upholstered seat and back use a multi-density foam for exceptional comfort, while bold block detailing where the seat meets the legs provides structural integrity and a distinctive design feature.
Suited to residential, hospitality, and commercial environments alike, the Block Lounge Chair works equally well as a stand-alone piece or grouped in numbers.

Otherwise, you will receive an order confirmation, and we will be in touch closer to completion to arrange collection or delivery.

Shipping and Returns
We ship furniture and lighting orders nationwide within New Zealand. These are either shipped with a selected courier or fragile freight carrier, with the pricing dependent on the location, size and weight of the item/s. The total freight will be calculated at checkout for your order. We reserve the right to apply additional charges for rural, low service or difficult access.
We offer free collection from our Auckland Warehouse in Eden Terrace on Monday-Friday. Saturday collection of smaller items can be pre-arranged before end of day Thursday via our Furniture & Lighting Showroom.
Made to order or imported products are made to your unique requirements and cannot be cancelled after one business day from placing the order.
In stock product can be returned within 14 days, for a credit or exchange. Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind. Products must be returned unused, with all original packaging and we
reserve the right to refuse a return if the product does not meet our requirements.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, unless the products received were damaged/faulty.
All sale purchases are final and not eligible for return or exchange. All sale goods are sold in as-new condition, however please note packaging may show signs of light wear.
Sale purchases are online only, stock will not be available at our retail locations.
Sale purchases will be dispatched in chronological order. Please allow 3-5 days for dispatch at this busy time, and then standard shipping timeframes will apply. Same day shipping is not available for sale items. Freight for oversized or large items, domestic or international, may incur additional charges. This will be invoiced to you and must be paid before the goods are dispatched.
