Arrival Table
Keshaw McArthur
The Arrival Table by architects Keshaw McArthur presents a hand-sculpted elliptical tabletop placed upon large, contrasting cuboid legs. Crafted in pale Maplewood, the table is gently shaped in plan and surface, with a smooth, matte finish and subtle grain.
This unexpected pairing continues Keshaw McArthur’s exploration into principles of duality - hovering and groundedness, free-formed and calculated, handworked and machined - resulting in a table that is highly considered, with an understated presence.
Each table is completely unique, handcrafted by Auckland-based woodworker Grant Bailey.
Made in New Zealand.
Keshaw mcarthur
Keshaw McArthur is an Auckland-based architecture office founded by Katrina Keshaw and Xuan McArthur Nguyen in 2014. Their work spans various scales, from commercial and residential architecture, to furniture, hardware and objects.
Keshaw McArthur endeavours to explore the ever-changing relationship between architecture, people and the environment. Through experimentation, spontaneity and suggestion, the work produced embodies a sense of place and exchange. There is an inherent quality to the work - a reduction of architecture and object to its essence - firmly rooted in a dialogue of spatial fields and the passage of time.
