Technicolour Fleece by Kvadrat features random sparks of colour, matching those used to mark sheep, which are randomly sprinkled across a natural fleece-coloured ground.
During the construction of this hand-knotted woollen rug, the shearing process is left out. This approach delivers an irregular surface which, together with a double-wash finishing process that opens the pile, gives Fleece a soft surface that recalls the natural coat of a sheep. The difference between the colourways is the base tone: each ground references a typical sheep colour.
Rug underlay recommended, with pricing available on request.

When your order is placed, we will review and be in touch if there are any changes to the noted lead time, such as fabric availability or orders placed after Christmas manufacturing deadlines. Otherwise you will receive a confirmation of your order and we will touch base closer to completion to arrange collection or delivery.

Designer Profile
Peter Saville exists in a territory of his own. His practice occupies a space between art and design, and his unparalleled approach has resulted in a unique contribution to culture. This hybrid position came into being partly through the unprecedented autonomy afforded to him, aged 22, as co-founder and art director of the legendary independent UK label Factory Records.
Unlike most 'commercial artists' of the time, and indeed since, Saville was free to design without approval. Making his art in the context of mass production, he accessed an audience through pop music, best exemplified in the series of record sleeves he created for Joy Division and New Order between 1979 and 1993.
His achievements were celebrated in The Peter Saville Show at the Design Museum in London in 2003. His first major show in a contemporary art museum was at the Migros Museum in Zurich in 2005. He continues to exhibit internationally.

Made to order or imported products are made to your unique requirements and cannot be cancelled after one business day from placing the order.
In stock product can be returned within 14 days, for a credit or exchange. Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind. Products must be returned unused, with all original packaging and we reserve the right to refuse a return if the product does not meet our requirements.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, unless the products received were damaged/faulty.
We ship furniture and lighting orders nationwide within New Zealand. These are either shipped with a selected courier or fragile freight carrier, with the pricing dependent on the location, size and weight of the item/s. The total freight will be calculated at checkout for your order. We reserve the right to apply additional charges for rural, low service or difficult access.
We offer free collection from our Auckland Warehouse in Eden Terrace on Monday-Friday. Saturday collection of smaller items can be pre-arranged before end of day Thursday via our Furniture & Lighting Showroom.
All sale purchases are final and not eligible for return or exchange. All sale goods are sold in as-new condition, however please note packaging may show signs of light wear.
Sale purchases are online only, stock will not be available at our retail locations.
Sale purchases will be dispatched in chronological order. Please allow 3-5 days for dispatch at this busy time, and then standard shipping timeframes will apply. Same day shipping is not available for sale items. Freight for oversized or large items, domestic or international, may incur additional charges. This will be invoiced to you and must be paid before the goods are dispatched.
