Manuela Szewald

Manuela Szewald is the Creative & Managing Director of Munich-based lighting brand Kaia. After a successful career as a lawyer across Europe, Szewald rediscovered her love of interior design and lighting in 2010 whilst refurbishing her family's holiday home. Since joining Kaia in 2013, Szewald has continued building the brand's legacy as an homage to its European heritage - protecting and maintaining traditional European craftsmanship with local makers, through a timeless design language, modern technology and honest materials.
