The surface structure of July by Muller Van Severan for Kvadrat is inspired by the natural fleece of a sheep, reminiscent of the short, neat fleece of high summer, after shearing has taken place.

July is beautifully organic in its look and feel, thanks to the innovative patent-pending production process. The rug is finished using water, heat, natural soap and mechanical friction. As the pile yarns begin to felt and connect, there is no longer the need for the latex backing normally used on tufted rugs avoiding any additional use of chemicals in the backing, and potentially making the rug easier to recycle at the end of its life.

The final pile thickness is both random and vivid, organically shifting from one texture to another in a pattern that is unique to each rug. On the rectangular rugs the corners also have a slightly organic look, enhancing the natural expression of the design.

July is suitable for light to moderate residential and commercial use. Rug underlay recommended.

Stocked Items

We hold a range of items in stock from all the brands we work with, these focus on products such as dining chairs, coffee tables, side tables, dining tables, lighting, outdoor furniture, beds, barstools and a small amount of upholstered items. These can normally be ready for dispatch within 3 - 4 days of receiving an order.

Made to Order Locally

Many of our products and particularly upholstered items are made to order, this way we can produce a product that is unique to your requirements. In terms of fabrics there are many possibilities outside of what you see on this site and we are happy to discuss what will work best for you and your environment. Lead times noted online are an estimation and can vary depending on the time of the year, fabric and material availability or manufacturing workloads. For example a chosen fabric may be out of stock, or our manufacturers have pre-christmas cutoffs from late September.

Imported Product

We strive to keep a selection of our best sellers from the import brands we work with in stock, but to keep this range diverse we aren’t able to hold all items in stock, so a number of our imported items will have lead times from worldwide locations. Lead times noted online are an estimation and can vary depending on the time of the year or with freight disruptions.

Ordering products with lead times:

When an order is placed for a product with a lead time, please make sure all details are correct as made to order or imported items are unable to be returned.If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us within one business day, as we may not be able to accommodate changes after this time or a fee may be incurred.

When your order is placed, we will review and be in touch if there are any changes to the noted lead time, such as fabric availability or orders placed after Christmas manufacturing deadlines. Otherwise you will receive a confirmation of your order and we will touch base closer to completion to arrange collection or delivery.
