The w227 Winkel Alu by Wastberg is an evolution of the ultimate task light. Presented to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the original w127 Winkel, w227 has been completely re-engineered in aluminium. Using significantly less material than its original counterpart, the w227 Winkel Alu features slimmer arm profiles and joints - hollowed out to conceal cables and springs, an extended movement range, and evolved light technology.
Its full-spectrum COB LED is designed to recreate the full, uninterrupted colour spectrum of sunlight, with a richer quality and superior colour rendering compared to standard traditional LEDs. The result is a generous yet incredibly even spread of high quality, anti-glare and dimmable light over a large surface area.
The w227 Winkel Alu truly defines state of the art, high-end task lighting - adapting seamlessly to modern working environments. Available in three finishes with base or pin mounting options.

Designer Profile
Dirk Winkel is a Berlin-based product designer who graduated from the Royal College of Art London, MA Design Products in 2010. Specialized in lighting and furniture design, he set up his design office in Berlin in summer 2011. Driven by the idea of formal purism as a basic principle of sustainability, his great interests are the exploration of pushing the boundaries of mass production techniques, the rethinking of light and lighting paradigms, and the investigation of new materials and their ecological and design potential. His work has won numerous awards and nominations such as the Swedish Design Award (Svensk Form), Designs of the Year (London Design Museum), the German Design Award (Special Mention) and the Editors‘ Choice Award (Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair).

Shipping and Returns
We ship furniture and lighting orders nationwide within New Zealand. These are either shipped with a selected courier or fragile freight carrier, with the pricing dependent on the location, size and weight of the item/s. The total freight will be calculated at checkout for your order. We reserve the right to apply additional charges for rural, low service or difficult access.
We offer free collection from our Auckland Warehouse in Eden Terrace on Monday-Friday. Saturday collection of smaller items can be pre-arranged before end of day Thursday via our Furniture & Lighting Showroom.
Made to order or imported products are made to your unique requirements and cannot be cancelled after one business day from placing the order.
In stock product can be returned within 14 days, for a credit or exchange. Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind. Products must be returned unused, with all original packaging and we reserve the right to refuse a return if the product does not meet our requirements.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, unless the products received were damaged/faulty.
All sale purchases are final and not eligible for return or exchange. All sale goods are sold in as-new condition, however please note packaging may show signs of light wear.
Sale purchases are online only, stock will not be available at our retail locations.
Sale purchases will be dispatched in chronological order. Please allow 3-5 days for dispatch at this busy time, and then standard shipping timeframes will apply. Same day shipping is not available for sale items. Freight for oversized or large items, domestic or international, may incur additional charges. This will be invoiced to you and must be paid before the goods are dispatched.
