As part of British Land’s regeneration of Canada Water, the Dock Shed is realised as a generous lobby and café for tenants, visitors and the local community.

Designed by Conran and Partners, the interiors are grounded in a quiet, considered material language. Concrete screed underfoot sits alongside dark timber and deep bronze tones, while raw detailing - exposed bolts and patinated finishes - references the dockside history of the place.

Soft drapery and sculptural seating shape the lofty space, creating a central communal heart with more intimate moments to the perimeter. Natural materials and lush planting form a restrained base, while subtle colour and personality are introduced through furniture and objects.

The Pick Up Sticks Chair by Simon James and Resident's Offset Coffee Table are integrated with clarity, adding contemporary character without disrupting the calm material narrative.
