The ‘Cloud’, is a purpose built temporary structure designed to provide flexible space for the 2011 RWC Queens Wharf Festival and Fan zone.

The Cloud is sensitive to its location and the environment utilising lightweight modern materials with strong sustainable credentials. As tension membrane structure, The Cloud makes use of PVC and the ETFE. The tension membrane roof fabrics were chosen for their durability in such a tough marine environment, and because they require little maintenance and are self-cleaning, scoring well in life-costing.
