Flora Candle Snuffer

Flora is a candlesnuffer with a sculptural quality. When not in use, Flora sits elegantly on a table or shelf as a purely decorative object. The elements of its form - handle, heat guard and snuffer dome - mimic the elements of a daffodil flower - stem, petal and corona.
"Flowers have been used through out history as decoration in domestic settings, and have traditionally been popular gifts. So when designing the candlesnuffer I felt the symbol of the flower was a beautiful metaphor to explore for Skultuna." Nick Ross (1986) is a designer from Scotland who resides and works in Stockholm, Sweden.
