Sphaera soap is inspired by the everyday rituals of bathing and cleansing, and the opportunities these afford for quiet moments of self-care. Each bar is a thoughtful composition of form and function hand crafted from fine natural ingredients. Available in the following three bars, and a Laundry Bar. 

Citrus and Poppy Seed
Brazilian yellow clay gently draws impurities from the skin, while poppy seeds offer natural, non-abrasive exfoliation. Coconut milk and Sweet Almond oil enrich, leaving skin soft, supple and beautifully clean.

Top: Lemon Myrtle
Mid: Sweet Orange, Litsea Cubeba
Base: Himalayan Cedarwood

Use: A deeply cleansing and calming soap for hard-working hands. Classic and all-purpose, with gentle antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities, this bar removes odours and restores moisture. Ideal for cooks, artists and gardeners.

Sweet Almond & French Clay
French green clay, one of the most absorbent natural clays, offers wonderful cleansing abilities. Sweet Almond oil and coconut milk enrich, ensuring the skin feels soft and moisturised after thorough gentle cleansing.

Base: Himalayan Cedarwood, Copaiba

Use: A deeply cleansing and long-lasting soap for all skins. All-purpose, with mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities, it purifies and replenishes. Equally suitable for bath or basin.

Kawakawa & Activated Charcoal
A specialised complexion soap for face and body. Crafted to brighten and balance the skin, with gentle anti-inflammatory and antiseptic qualities, it soothes and purifies. Especially suited to oily or problematic skins needing deep gentle cleansing. A complex, earthy blend of spice and balsam lifted by fresh, bright citrus notes.

Base: Virginian Cedarwood Vetiver

Use: New Zealand olive oil, infused with Kawakawa. A small tree with heart-shaped leaves endemic to New Zealand, Kawakawa is known as the pharmacy of the forest due to its many medicinal applications, internal and external. It has powerful anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial qualities and soothes the skin. Kawakawa is harvested with respect according to Tikanga Maori (customary protocol) of Rongoa Maori (traditional Maori medicine). Activated charcoal draws impurities away gently from the skin, providing a deep, gentle cleanse without drying.

Pomegranate Seed Oil & Pink Clay 
A richly moisturising and gently cleansing soap for face and body, bath or basin. Crafted to balance and brighten, this bar energises tired skin. Especially kind to dry or mature skin. A sweet, spicy blend with warm woody undertones and lifted floral top notes. 

Top Notes: Pink Grapefruit Bergamot 
Mid:  Pepper Rose Geranium 
Base: Amyris Sandalwood

Use: Pomegranate seed oil, especially useful for mature skin, offers protective qualities and enables moisture retention. Pink clay provides a gentle cleanse, returning balance to sensitive or stressed skin. Coconut milk and Sweet Almond oil combine for a rich, silky lather and long-lasting moisture.

Wild Kelp, Sea Sale & Pumice
A versatile and refreshing soap offering gentle exfoliation for hands and body. Crafted to rejuvenate and stimulate the skin, it gently refines and purifies. Perfectly placed in the kitchen or by the handbasin. A complex, earthy blend of spice and balsam lifted by fresh, bright citrus notes.

Base: Frankincense Himalayan Cedarwood

Use: Wild-crafted kelp from the rocky shores of the South Island’s west coast, and Malborough sea salt to purify. Fine ground pumice from ancient volcanic eruptions provides gentle exfoliation. NZ bentonite clay draws impurities from the skin to be gently washed away.
