We are Hiring - Store Manager

Simon James is seeking a Store Manager to lead our flagship store in Herne Bay, Auckland.

 

Role Overview

This is a sales-focused role, ideal for a driven and passionate professional. As Store Manager, you will be a motivating leader for our store team, adept at managing day to day processes in a busy retail location. You will be confident and invested in all aspects of sales and service, and understand the value of an exceptional customer experience.

Our stores offer a premium retail experience which requires an engaged salesperson, with a high level of polish and presentation. The successful candidate will bring a genuine interest in our assortment of local and international brands - across homewares, fashion and jewellery. 

 

Key Responsibilities

- Proactively lead our store team by example, increasing sales productivity and performance
- Build and foster client relationships across our business and brands, creating exceptional customer experiences in a confident and genuine manner

- Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards
- Execute administrative duties related to stock management, store management and day to day duties
- Contribute to the collaborative buying process with insights from client interactions and trends

 

Key Expectations

- 2+ years in a leadership or management role
- 4+ years sales experience
- Genuine interest in our brands across design, fashion and jewellery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available Tuesday - Saturday each week, with 1 weekend off per month

This is a full time role based in our Herne Bay Store. The successful candidate will be proactive, have high attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a team.
