A dining table that investigates the interplay between being transparent and solid, the wooden lattice build up the legs and with the natural spacing it plays with both light and shadow. From some angles the legs will appear as a closed surface, only revealing its construction though the light flowing though, while it from other will appear very transparent. The construction is inspired by the shutters and covers that are used in architecture to control light streaming into the building and the calming repetitions creates an overall clear architectural feeling, which you often find in front of traditional Japanese stores and restaurants.

We hold a range of items in stock from all the brands we work with, these focus on product such as dining chairs, coffee tables, side tables, dining tables, lighting, outdoor furniture, beds barstools and a small amount of upholstered items. These can normally be ready for dispatch with in 3 - 4 days as receiving an order.
Made to Order
We work slightly differently to some other retailers where most of our upholstered items are made to order, this way we can produce a product that is unique to you. This process starts with understanding your requirements and our consultants offering furniture solutions that are best suited to you. In terms of fabric there are many possibilities outside of what you just see on this site and we are happy to discuss what will work best for you and your environment.
We strive to keep a selection of our best sellers from the import brands we work with in stock, but to keep this range diverse we aren’t able to hold all items in stock, so a number of our imported items will have lead time out of Europe. We can provide further lead time information during the time of enquiring as this can vary depending on the time of the year.
Norm Architects are driven by a love of minimalism and a desire to create products that meet real-life needs. A Scandinavian company through and through, Norm Architects are celebrated for their clean, minimalistic designs.
Founders Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen argue that minimalism is nothing new: “It has been the norm in many cultures all over the globe since the beginning of civilization. People have strived for material poverty as a way to inner luxury. Reduction and perfection have been the main goal for both craftsmen and inventors – because avoiding the irrelevant meant emphasising the important.”
The pursuit of purity, simplicity and timelessness is at the heart of every piece created by Norm Architects.
